My silent film adheres to the styles of the silent film genre in many ways:
1. All of our actors used very exaggerated movements to clearly convey what was being shown. This is to make up for the lack of dialogue and the lack of colour.
2. We also made our film black and white and have black banners on the side of the film to reflect the technology of the age.
3. We have the fancy classical music of the era to add to this style.
It would be better if, we all had more experience. During the making of the film, many scenes were changed or even conceived on the fly, and so this meant some scenes could of been better, if we were more professional.
If our music was set in time with the plot, this would of conveyed to the audience what emotions the characters were experiencing more clearly, but because this is a long, and hard process, we did not attempt this, because we had little time, and were slowly losing our patience, and it requires a lot of work.
